Members of the One Act Play are making preparations for their upcoming contest.  This year the cast and crew will put on the production of “Her Senior Year”.  Mrs. Lindsay Lemon is the plays director.  Members of the cast and crew include Savanah Cato, Shannon Raines, Maddison McKay, Colton Clouse, Michaela Thomas, Ashely Perez, Harrison Thweatt, Bree McKay, Melanie Valance, Lori Barnett, Matt Templeton, Dallis Villarreal, and Devon Hopper.  They will compete on March 24th in Vernon.

The FFA Judging teams are preparing and practicing for their various contests set for this Spring.  Members of the Shooting Clays team include Dalton Price, Anthony Perez, Joey Arispe, Michaela Thomas, Ashely Perez, Jake Welch, Daly Welch, and Madison Templeton.  The Livestock Judging team includes returning district champion Robbi Barnett.  Robbi is joined by Lyndsey Price, Jake Welch, and Madison Templeton.  The Cotton Team, which place 4th in district last year, includes returning members Dalton Price, Anthony Perez, and Joey Arispe.  They are joined by Daly Welch.  The Poultry team is made up of Junior class members Colton Clouse, Sierra Thomas, McKenna Hopkins, and Michaela Thomas. These students will compete at Tarleton, West Texas A & M, and Clarendon College.  The area contest is scheduled for April 11st at Tarleton State University.  These teams are being coached by Mr. Russ Ramsey. 

Lyndsey Price is in the student spotlight this week.  Lyndsey is the daughter of Bill and Katrina Price of Harrold.  She has attended HHS since Kindergarten and enjoys attending with her siblings Dalton and Kinsey Price.  Price is a freshman this year and participates in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Tennis, and FFA.  She was named newcomer of the year in Volleyball this year and also won Senior Swine Showmanship at the Wilbarger County Junior Livestock Show.  After high school she plans to travel the world learning different cultures and working as a missionary.  She named her dad as her role model because he is amazing.  Some of her favorites include Dr. Pepper, Doritos, and smart cars.
