Members of the HHS Debate team will compete in the National Forensic League Congress on Thur. Feb. 16th and compete in the NFL Debate tournament on the 17th and 18th. This event will be held in Big Springs Texas.
Jr. FFA member, Kreed Ramsey will be traveling to San Antonio to compete in their livestock show on Feb. 17th-20th. Kreed was recently named 2nd place Jr. Showman at the Wilbarger County Livestock Show. He also won Reserve Champion Breeding Gilt. We would also like to congratulate Morgan and Clayton Reinisch for their grand and reserve champion breeding lambs as well as Morgan’s grand champion market lamb at the Wilbarger County show. Both of these young men placed in the showmanship portion of the event. Freshman, Lyndsey Price won Senior Swine Showmanship honors this year as well. We would like to congratulate all of our kids with their accomplishments during this stock show season and wish them the best of luck at the major shows this year.
Jordan Moralez is in the student spotlight this week. Jordan has attended HHS for three years and participates in volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country. Jordan is an active member of the FFA and enjoys showing swine. Some of her favorites include Dr. Pepper, pizza, and just about any type of car. After high school she plans to attend college to become an RN.
