Pi Day Announcement

Pi Day is coming soon!!!!!!

Around the world, March 14^th is celebrated as Pi Day. Why March 14^th?

Since March 14^th is a Saturday this year, we will celebrate Pi Day Eve on Friday March 13^th.

On Friday, if you wear a Pi Day t-shirt, you will receive 2 Trade-A-Grades. You can make a new shirt or wear the shirt you made last year for Pi Day.

Your shirt may be decorated any way you want, but must have at least the following details:

The Pi symbol
The words “Pi Day”
The date
The decimal approximation of Pi (use at least 2 digits after the decimal, but you may include as many digits as you like)

Other things you could include on your shirt are circles, formulas, etc. Be creative!!

To receive credit for completing your shirt, you must show Mrs. Thweatt your shirt AS SOON AS you arrive at school on Friday March 13^th. (You can also bring your shirt anytime before the 13^th.) You must wear your shirt to all your classes Friday (except PE/Athletics).
